Ghost Hunt

So, I talked to another psychic medium and she suggests I go on a mini ghost hunt during the day. She told me that this can help to develop and control my abilities. She suggested going to a civil war site such as Fort Sill. I am going to go on several hunts and go to the Warren Cemetery in Norman, OK first. I will be going there today during the day to see what I pick up. I am scared, but excited. I hope to find some great information! Next I will go to Fort Sill near Lawton. It may take a few weeks to do all of this, but I will get it done! Here are the places I want to go:

Warren Cemetery- This is an old cemetery in Norman that I would like to check out. I want to see if there are any spirits wandering around that I can pick up on.

Fort Sill- Lawton, OK- Geronimo Acres Housing- Lots of activity. A soldier's spirit has been seen. Spirits of Indian Children have been seen on a swing set in the back of the house.

Fort Washita- Durant, OK -Footsteps heard. Near old stables and barracks apparitions have been seen. A headless woman carrying her head under her arm has been reported.

Fort Supply- Near - WKCC- Ghosts roam the prison yard; you can hear screams coming from the old commissary building;

Fort Gibson- The McBride House- Queen Ann B&B- 4 known ghosts haunt the house; The Old Fort: Soldiers haunt the fort. Strange occurrences inside the building.

Fort Reno- (I want to go on the Ghost Tour!)- Near El Reno, OK- Many spirits seen around fort and cemetery.

The OKC Bombing Memorial- Spirits have been seen of the victims.

There is an old Indian Cemetery in Eufaula I would like to visit next time I am there.- Indians seen in the houses around the cemetery. Noises coming over baby monitors. Children crying coming from the cemetery.

Stone Lion Inn- Guthrie, OK- A little girl named Augusta is said to be around 8 years old and haunts the 3rd floor of the bed & breakfast. She is known to come down into guest rooms and move things around and touch them on the cheek when they are sleeping. There is also a man that walks around smoking a pipe.

Old High School- Moore, OK- It is said there was a little girl who carried a doll with her all the time that was burned in the building when it caught on fire. You can see the doll and the little girl if you stand at the large staircase.

I want to go to these places mainly to see if these legends are true and how they came to be. Check back to see what I find out!!

Cemetery Visit

So I went to Watkins Cemetery in the Broken Bow/ Glover area at night. It was one heck of an experience. My head hurt really bad because of all the voices I was hearing at once and all the spirits I had seen. There was a woman who was very angry because her daughter had not come out to put flowers on her grave in several years. I did not catch her name, but if you have not put flowers on your mom's grave in Watkins Cemetery in a few year, please go do it! I was really wanting to get out of there because of the stress. We went back 2 days later, during the day, to visit my husband's mother's grave. I told him that I would talk to her for him and it was really emotional. He asked her questions that no one but her could possibly know. The answers were dead on (no pun intended). It is nice to reconnect my husband to his mother, but it is bitter-sweet because he cannot see her, but I can. I have been working on calling spirits to me. It hurts my head really bad though when I do it. I heard that is normal when you first start out, but who knows. I wish I could control this "gift" better. I have been watching that show "Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal". It has helped me to understand a little better what is going on.

Starting Off

Well, how do you start a blog when you don't want anyone to know who you are? I guess I will find out. My name is Psychic Girl of Oklahoma and I am 20 years old. I have been seeing spirits since I was a little girl. I am keeping my identity a secret because of the ridicule that comes with being a psychic medium. I have been called crazy, a faker, and a demon because of the way I see things. I am a Christian first of all. i believe that God gave me this gift to use and to help people and it has taken me 20 years to finally realize that. My dad is also a psychic medium. He feels them in his sleep and feels what they feel (pain and all). I am not sure what exactly you would call that, but yeah. He has dreamt about many of them that I have seen. I see them and can talk to them. It is harder for my dad to do that. It is nice to have someone I can share these experiences with. My mom at first thought I was crazy.  I told her I had seen my grandpa whom had just passed away at the side of the road and was hysterically crying. She told me it was not real and then my dad spoke up for the first time and she knew it was not fake. She talked to one of her friends whom is a pastor and she said that she believes this is real. I would like to be able to control my abilities better and I feel like I am not in control most of the time. There is really no one else I can talk to about this and I feel helpless sometimes. I see spirits everywhere I go. This blog is filled with my experiences as a psychic medium.
